If you are a sailor with some racing instincts this yacht will bring you to the heights of happiness – and there is room for a big family. She can sleep seven persons. The owner’s cabin forward of the main bulkhead with the shower room en suite has a double bed or a V-bed at your choice. The roomy main cabin has an U-shaped sofa and a folding table to port and a sofa to starboard. Aft of the nav. table to starboard is the navigator’s bed, the best sea bunk on board. A roomy galley to port. The aft cabin with two bunks is the favourite cabin for the younger sailors.
As all Classic Swedish Yachts, the Swede 52 is built with safety and ease of handling in mind. Therefore she has a deep and roomy cockpit from where all sail handling can be done.
The Swede 52 will be built with the same technique and to the same high standards as the Swede 68.
The 7/8 rig has carbon mast and boom and two swept spreaders to avoid the use of runners. Furling gear for the jib. The normal cruising sails should, besides main and jib, be a Code 0 and a gennaker. For racing, spinnaker may be advisable, depending of the racing rules. Sail stowage below fore deck, accessible from deck – the prefect stowage for the lee sails, ready to be set. An experienced sailor has no problem sailing her single-handed.
No pains will be spared to make also the interior of the Swede 52 elegant and comfortable. In short, the Swede 52 is a yacht with the displacement of a 33-footer and performance of a 52-footer. Fast, comfortable and safe she invites you to long range cruising just for the pleasure to sail. She is a yacht offering that special feeling of lightness and speed that is so important for the sailing pleasure.

With a light weight and stiff hull and large sail areas Swede 52 will tickle all your senses.
Beautiful and fast
Sail handling is simple with only four sails for excellent performance. The beauty of the sleek lines gives a very high head-turning quotient, and the high quality of the workmanship makes you and others happy enjoying life.
A sleek yacht
A long and sleek hull is safer than a beamy one because it retains effective steerage at higher degrees of heeling. On a sleek yacht the rudder keeps its grip in the water also at strong inclination, whereas a beamy yacht with only one rudder tends to lift the rudder out of the water, creating conditions ripe for a broach. This is a question of safety that is seldom discussed.
As a result, this ultra light construction is very stiff and strong which is one of the core virtues that enhance the sailing capabilities and the ability to withstand high structural stress.
Stainless Steel Keel Cassette
To optimize performance we suggest four sails: a full-bat¬tened main; a 110% working (or self-tacking) jib; a gennaker (asymmetrical spinnaker) and a Code-0 type sail for light air sailing. We recommend light, high quality sails from North Sails or UK Halsey Sail makers. The main and the 110% or self-tacking furling jib are always ready to be set without delay and the gennaker is ready in its sleeve under the fore deck hatch – and so is the furling Code-0.
Carbon fibre mast
A lighter mast makes the yacht stiffer and faster and reduces pitching at sea. The swept spreaders make running back¬stays unnecessary at cruising in normal weather conditions. The absence of running backstays makes the sailing com¬fortable.
Vacuum-bagged wooden deck
Boxes for halyards
Blocks and organisers
All handling of sails from cockpit
High quality lasts longer and increases the wellbeing and the enduring value of the yacht.
The ventilated mattress always keeps the bed dry and no humid bedclothes need to be dried.
When the weather is chilly you will have a dry and electri¬cally heated bunk. Just push a button half an hour before bedtime.
Navigation table and navigators quarter berth
Spotlights with dimmers are mounted on the overhead in the forward and main cabins. Nine LED reading lamps in the cabins and adequate lighting in the galley, at the navigation table and in the toilet.
These three lockers, sail locker below the fore-deck, to port in the cockpit and below after- deck are large enough to take care of these extra things that belong to comfortable cruising.
